Good post. Usability and user experience are what I'm all about. As a software interface designer, I'm always pointing out to developers (and pretty much everyone else) that people don't want to pay for software to teach them about computer viruses, they want the software they purchase to get rid of those viruses. The first thing I do is to eliminate the jargon. No one cares about it but us nerds.
