I followed your instructions, with one exception. Rather than editing the files after the template is copied, I edited the files in the template directly.

In order to do this, I had to temporarily grany myself write access to the files. (I do not recall if I had to temporarily disable AVG as well.)

Hello.
Unfortunately, your solution doesn’t help me. I still have error ‘document.getElementById()’ is null or not an object. I use
Silverlight Project Template for Visual Studio 2005 (http://ox.no/posts/silverlight-project-template-for-visual-studio-2005).

I used your idea on the template that comes with the Silverlight 1.0 SDK, i just had to also rename the .js file in the vstemplate file
