I disagree completely, man. He’s a fantastic writer. I think what you may be pointing at is that his novels (well, a good chunk of them anyway) are a little slow-paced at first until he sets the scene, but then it’s as fast as a bullet. Like a rollercoaster, it slowly goes up, and when it’s there … baddaboom.

I’d recommend “Firestarter” for something a little more fast-paced.
